Why South Korea is Doomed

I served as the editor on 2 and 20’s YouTube video Why South Korea is Doomed, taking responsibility for the full post-production edit. My work included sourcing and organizing footage, crafting the edit and pacing, and adding SFX and sound design to support the narrative. I delivered final exports formatted for YouTube and met the client’s delivery specifications.

  • Final YouTube export contributed to a video with 131,561 views and 3,493 likes

This project was an editorial commission for 2 and 20 on their YouTube channel. The piece combined original and sourced footage to make a tightly edited narrative for an online audience; my role focused strictly on post-production rather than on scripting or research. I worked within the client’s brief to assemble the visual story and ensure continuity across sourced clips.

Editing work included structuring scenes for pacing, trimming and layering sourced footage, and applying transitions that maintained narrative flow. I implemented SFX and sound-design elements to reinforce key moments and to balance dialogue with background audio. Throughout the process I organized assets and maintained versioned edits so feedback could be incorporated efficiently.

For delivery I prepared final exports optimized for YouTube upload, addressing encoding, levels, and playback consistency across devices. The finished video has since accumulated over 131,000 views and several thousand likes and comments, which I include here as context for audience engagement. All deliverables were handed off to the 2 and 20 team to their specification.
