I edited Is the US Dollar Dead? for 2 and 20, a long-form YouTube episode examining the dollar’s role in global markets. Working from interviews and narration, I organized the material into a clear, watchable structure aimed at audience comprehension and engagement. The edit balanced explanatory segments with interview footage to maintain steady pacing across the runtime.
My responsibilities included detailed video editing, sourcing and integrating supporting footage, and applying SFX to emphasize transitions and key points. I handled sound design–leveling voices and adjusting ambient elements–to ensure clarity between dialogue and other audio elements. Those choices were aimed at keeping the episode rhythmically engaging while preserving informational accuracy.
For delivery I provided the final export formatted for YouTube and performed final checks to ensure the edit and audio translated well on the platform. The uploaded video has since accumulated about 69.7k views, 1.7k likes, and 279 comments, which offered the client measurable audience feedback. Throughout the project I focused on execution details that support clear storytelling and reliable delivery for the client’s channel.
