This project was a long-form documentary published on YouTube for client 2 and 20. As the project’s editor, I assembled the narrative from interview and field material, shaping the structure and tempo to keep complex information clear and accessible. My role focused strictly on post-production delivery rather than editorial direction of the reporting.
To support the edit I sourced and integrated archival and stock footage, layered sound effects, and performed targeted sound design to improve clarity and emotional impact without overshadowing the reporting. I handled detailed cuts, transitions, and audio cleanup so visuals and voiceover remained the primary drivers of the story. Throughout the process I worked with the producer on feedback rounds to tighten pacing and address factual timing.
For final delivery I prepared optimized exports for YouTube and completed the necessary technical QC before handoff to the client. The uploaded video has since reached over 146,000 views with more than 5,100 likes and active viewer comments, which provided useful post-launch engagement context for the client. The finished piece reflected focused post-production craft aimed at clear storytelling and reliable platform delivery.
