I edited How China Launched a New Industrial Revolution for client 2 and 20, delivering a long-form documentary-style piece for YouTube. My focus was on shaping a clear, consistent narrative from the available footage while maintaining appropriate pacing across the runtime. Work stayed aligned with the client brief and platform constraints.
The work I delivered included video editing, sourcing archival and supporting footage, adding SFX, and creating the sound design to enhance transitions and emphasis. Sound elements were balanced to support the story without overpowering narration, and SFX were timed to match visual cues. I prepared final exports with attention to YouTube encoding and the client’s delivery requirements.
The finished video has attracted roughly 795,000 views, over 21,000 likes, and more than 2,300 comments on YouTube, giving a sense of audience engagement. I coordinated final deliverables for 2 and 20 and handed off upload-ready files. The project emphasized precise editorial execution and cohesive audio post-production to support the film’s argument and viewing experience.
